Holy Week is a special religious occasion I look forward to this month of April. In the Philippines, it has been a holiday starting on Wednesday and will culminate on Easter Sunday. It is the last week of Lent wherein Christians commemorate the suffering and death of Jesus Christ.
This year’s Holy Week is also a long vacation from work for me, starting tomorrow up to Easter Sunday… it is sometimes good to have a break from the busy workplace and have moments with the Lord. I wished to go out of town and travel as much as I want to, but due to budget constraints, I prefer to just stay home and relax. This is the best occasion for reflection and retreat and be sorry for all the sins committed that leads Jesus to die on the cross. This is also the chance for me to empower myself to do some household errands and beautification… and more time for myself and the family.
