I need to sit down and scribble before I feel sleepy… anything that comes out in my mind.
The past few weeks, and days were so hectic, busy, and on a holiday-mode. Shopping christmas gifts today, party tomorrow, dinner dates with friends, out of town travel, office gathering, company gathering… whew! name it all! These are the stuffs that keeps me going and occupied a month before christmas.
I don’t want to miss writing something about this special and biggest occasion, the Christmas Season! Christmas is on the air and I wish everyone will be happy celebrating this occasion.
Listening and watching this video makes me excited for Christmas! This is one of the best and joyful performances of Mariah… i just love her voice and her songs. Though it was performed 4 years ago, watching it reminds me that christmas is fast approaching!
I am planning to decorate our home with Christmas decors this weekend and bring out our old christmas tree, clean up our Santa Claus and install christmas lights inside and outside the house… but hmm, something is missing.. one thing I wish to have is a complete nativity set. I hope I can acquire one this christmas.
As early as the 1st day of September, christmas songs can be heard anywhere… malls, radio, television and even officemates singing carols in the background. How time flies and Christmas is near! Some big malls and restaurants are putting up christmas decorations already. I can already see shoppers shopping christmas decorations and when on the streets – streetchildrens are singing christmas carols outside the car window. Christmas is indeed on the air and singing “joy to the world” makes this special occasion a day to look forward to. I wish and pray that the whole world will be joyous and blessed this Christmas.
I am preparing to attend a Christmas party tonight with a Rock Star theme… and everybody should go in Rock Star attire. This is exciting! But, hhmm… I’d rather be a simple rock star tonight although I wish to look like Monique Powell of Save Ferris and win the “Rock Star of the night” award. Not bad!
Here are the things I learned from my 2-day preparation to be a Rock Star for one night occasion:
Wear a pair of jeans and a white plain t-shirt will do for you to look like a rock star with matching rock star make-up and a wig.
Interesting Monique Powel. She’s a lead singer for band, SAVE FERRIS (1995-2003) who performed and wrote 2 albums on Epic Records 1997 and 2001, until they broke up in 2002. This rock star is a California-base vocalist and was born in Los Angeles, California. She is currently working on her solo career and clothing line, Msquared Clothing.
Be realistic in choosing rock star attire and don’t do something that doesn’t match your body type.
You may pattern your attire from a real rock star that interests you like Monique Powel my case, because then you can do something where you are fond of.
